Susan Galick
Biography
Susan's passion is devoted to her kids, 5 young grand children, her gardens, and her art. 'While painting I totally lose myself in the moment.'
Having had 2 successful businesses in the past creating her own clothing design, soaps and skin care Susan has always been an entrepreneur with a huge passion in creativity. A graduate of Fashion Design and Merchandising, Susan, mostly self taught, has now been studying art under her mentor Carmel Clare (former FLAG member).
Her painting style is contemporary impressionism and abstract using both oils and acrylics as her medium of choice. Bold, happy bright colours depicting coastal street scenes dominate her style along with big bold abstracts. Inspired by her love of the ocean and her beloved coastal cottage simply called "The Beach Box": here she paints in total freedom.
Susan currently purchased her second home in beautiful Fort Langley on the river and plans to set up her second studio.
Susan joined FLAG Spring 2012.
